Maison BONAMI is committed throughout the manufacturing process of its wallpapers in order to offer high-quality products and reduce its carbon impact.

From creating patterns to sending orders

Responsible design

Respecting meticulous and quality know-how, all our designs are the result of long creative work carried out by our illustrators, Bianca and Morgane. Each with their own unique worlds and sources of inspiration, they work with watercolor, charcoal, and Indian ink to magnify shapes and colors. The result: unique and original designs!

Some collections are created in collaboration with guest artists. As part of these artistic collaborations, the artists receive a commission on sales of their wallpapers.

All our collections are designed to be as durable as possible, so you'll want to keep them for as long as possible.

Adapted formats

We offer you the option of ordering our wallpapers by the strip. This allows you to order only the quantity you need, thus avoiding excessive paper waste. We have also predefined several panel sizes to best suit your needs, which helps limit paper waste.

High-quality, eco-responsible papers

Maison BONAMI only offers PVC-free non-woven wallpapers (textile fibers), with a matte and velvety appearance, and a thick weight (147g/m2) which allow you to elegantly wallpaper any type of surface and elegantly cover any imperfections (damaged or irregular surfaces). The material is soft to the touch; the finely textured appearance gives a warm and high-end look.

Our wallpapers do not contain any environmentally harmful substances. They do not contain any of the following components: Mineral fibers Formaldehyde Heavy metals or metallic components Organic solvents Our wallpapers have the CE mark which guarantees production in compliance with European standards regarding reaction to fire and the emission of hazardous substances. The paper used for our wallpapers is fireproof (European standard BS1DO), and comes from sustainably managed forests.

Solvent-free inks

The inks are 100% natural, made from natural latex, water, recycled plants, and pigments. They have the GreenGuard and Ecologo labels.

Consumables (ink cartridges and print heads) are recycled directly by our manufacturer.

Fair and 100% French production

All Maison BONAMI wallpapers are printed in France by our partner suppliers, based in Lyon and Paris.

Working with French companies is essential at Maison BONAMI. It's a way for us to promote our country's expertise, support the manufacturing industry, and, of course, preserve jobs.

It is also a guarantee of quality for all our customers with products manufactured in compliance with regulations and subject to rigorous controls.

We print our wallpapers exclusively to order. No rolls or strips are manufactured outside of orders placed on our website or directly by architects/decorators. There is no stock, meaning no unnecessary production that could be destroyed. Our customer-ordered wallpapers are shipped directly from the manufacturing facility to avoid unnecessary transport and limit our carbon footprint. No orders pass through our design studio in Paris.

A minimized carbon footprint

In order to limit the carbon footprint of our products as much as possible, all products offered by Maison BONAMI are made to order.
This means:

• No stock , so no unnecessary production that could be destroyed.
• No transit of our products : the products ordered by our customers are sent directly by our printers in order to limit CO2 footprints.

Maison BONAMI therefore offers quality, eco-responsible products, designed and manufactured in France, in compliance with standards and regulations.

Plastic-free packaging

No plastic is used to package our wallpapers. Our packaging is all designed in France and comes exclusively from recycled materials (tissue paper, kraft paper, wallpaper scraps, paper tape, etc.).

Second-hand wallpaper too: zero waste operation!

Our wallpaper scraps, from our printing tests to develop new patterns and color samples, are not thrown away. They are repurposed into notebooks, accessories, and other items for the home or office.

All our scraps are donated to the Pointcarré Cooperative , a design and production workshop for creative objects located in the Paris region. The goal of the Pointcarré Cooperative is to facilitate the return to employment of people experiencing social and professional difficulties through training, apprenticeship and integration programs.
