Maison BONAMI wallpapers:
What are the materials and standards for wallpapers?
Maison BONAMI only offers non-woven wallpapers (textile fibers) with a thick weight ( 150 g to 180 g ).
All our wallpapers have the CE mark, which guarantees production in compliance with European standards regarding reaction to fire and the emission of hazardous substances. The inks are 100% latex, made from natural latex, water, recycled plants, and pigments. They have the GreenGuard and Ecologo labels.
All Maison BONAMI wallpapers are created and made with the greatest care, in France by our suppliers and partners.
How many strips do I need for my project?
Our wallpapers are available in 2 formats:
- Lé: which measures 50 x 260 cm (wxh)
- Roll: 50 cm x 10 m
You can also order a custom size, tailored to your needs, by sending us a custom wallpaper request. The maximum width of a strip cannot exceed 130 cm to avoid complicating installation.

Can I have a sample?
You can order a sample of the wallpaper(s) you are interested in. These samples are 21 x 29.7 cm in size and are printed in the same colors and on the same paper (150 g non-woven) as the strips or rolls of wallpaper. A flat fee of €3 is required to cover printing costs. Shipping is by post and is FREE for orders of 5 or more samples.
Laying the paper:
How long can a length of wallpaper be kept before hanging?
There is no expiration date on our papers. However, we recommend storing them away from moisture and not waiting more than 6 months before applying them.
What surfaces can I hang my wallpaper on?
Before starting to hang the wallpaper, we advise you to check that the surface to be wallpapered is:
- Strong and durable
- Healthy (no mold)
- Clean (no dust)
- Dried
- Flat (slight imperfections possible but no holes or cracks)
- Absorbent (neither too porous nor waterproof).
Remember to always prepare the surface to be wallpapered before starting to lay your paper.
Can I put wallpaper in every room?
The use of our wallpapers in damp rooms is not recommended.
Should I hire a professional to hang my wallpaper ?
You don't need to be a DIY expert to hang Maison BONAMI wallpaper... Installation is even easier because the paste is applied directly to the wall, not the paper. And since our non-woven wallpaper is of very high quality, all you need is a thin layer of paste to attach it to the wall.
What “tools” do I need?
You will need:
- one meter
- a pencil
- a level
- a cutter
- a ruler of 30 cm or more
- wallpaper glue rather than ready-to-use paste to avoid lumps and air bubbles
- a smoothing brush or a soft, clean, dry cloth
- a table

How long will it take me?
Every decorating project is unique. It's difficult to give a timescale.
If you have several strips to install, it is best to install them on the same day, one after the other. In any case, before you start, make sure you are calm and can take your time!
How to cut paper?
Use a ruler and a cutter to cut the wallpaper to the dimensions you need.
Cleaning & maintenance:
How do I clean my wallpaper?
Maison BONAMI wallpapers are not washable.
Never wet them, wipe them with a soft, dry cloth in case of stains or dirt.
Withdrawal :
How to remove wallpaper?
Non-woven wallpaper can be removed by hand. To do this, wet the entire length of wallpaper, then peel it off, starting from one of the corners. No traces of paste should remain on your wall.

How to order?
You must create an account to place an order. If you haven't registered yet, simply follow the steps to register your details. If you're already part of our community, simply enter your login and password on the login page!
Once your basket has been validated, check that your delivery address and your billing address do not contain any errors, then choose your delivery method.
Finally, select your secure payment method.
A confirmation email will be sent to you after payment.
Can I exchange a product or get a refund?
You have fourteen days after receiving your order to return your purchases for a refund if they are not suitable. All returns must be notified in advance to Maison BONAMI by filling out the form associated with the order in the section My account / My orders .
Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions).
Please note that once the paper has been glued and/or cut, no claims can be made to Maison BONAMI. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, unless the product is found to be defective or non-compliant.
We do not offer standard exchanges. For a new size, another model, or another color, simply reorder on the e-shop.
How do I pay for my order?
Payment for your order on our site can be made:
- Secure payment by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro and American Express)
- Secure payment via Paypal
- Secure payment in installments with Alma: in 2, 3 or 4 installments.
What are the conditions for paying in installments?
- Payment in installments is eligible for baskets ranging from €50 to €2,000.
- Accepted cards are those issued in France such as Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
- Prepaid, virtual and systematic authorization cards are not accepted.
I would like to pay in installments, how do I do this?
On the payment page, select "Pay in installments with Alma." You will then be redirected to a payment page where you will need to enter your bank details as for a standard payment. There, you will find a summary of your upcoming payments. You will then receive a summary email with the schedule of your payments, followed by a reminder email 3 days before each payment.
Is paying in installments with Alma secure?
Alma systematically performs a 3D Secure verification to confirm that you are the owner of the card used. Your bank will then send you a confirmation SMS or a push notification in your banking app, to confirm that you initiated this transaction and that it is not fraudulent.
I would like a refund but I paid in installments with Alma, what should I do?
Alma is our payment partner but does not have access to manage our orders. If you wish to cancel your order, obtain a refund or a goodwill gesture, we invite you to contact us via our contact form .

Deliveries:
How much are the delivery charges?
Shipping costs (preparation, packaging and postage) are free for all orders to mainland France, from 280 euros of purchase. For other destinations, these costs depend on the products ordered as well as the shipping zone . They are indicated in your basket, before the confirmation of the order and the associated payment. The dimensions of the boxes are appropriate and your items are properly protected.
What are the delivery times?
Packages are shipped within a maximum of 14 days after receipt of payment.
A link to track your package online will be sent to you as soon as the package is handed over to the carrier.
Where can I get it delivered?
Packages are shipped with a tracking number and delivered without signature, to the physical address you indicated when ordering.
In case of absence, the carrier can also hand the package over to a caretaker or a neighbor, you will then be informed by a calling card inviting you to come and collect it from the latter.

The carrier must leave a notice in your mailbox, either to warn you that they have tried to deliver a parcel to you and that they will return the next working day, or to inform you that your parcel can be collected from your nearest relay point from a date that they will indicate to you.
What should I do if my wallpaper arrives damaged?
All our wallpapers are inspected before shipping. If they arrive damaged, Maison BONAMI will take action against the carrier.
If you find that the package is damaged, you have fourteen days after receiving your order to return your purchases to us for a refund if they are not suitable.
Any return must be notified in advance to Maison BONAMI by completing the form associated with the order in the section My account / My orders.
